Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements

The Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements (STAIRs) is a new standard introduced by the UK government that gives social housing residents the right to access information about how their homes and services are managed.

It is designed to enhance transparency for residents of privately registered providers like IronOak, and to strengthen residents’ understanding of how their landlord operates so they can hold it to account.

The requirement is embedded in the Regulator of Social Housing’s Transparency, Influence and Accountability Standard.

Phase 1 of the scheme requires providers to publish relevant information under the 7 classes of information. On this page you can find all the relevant information.
